Spend your summer expanding your global network, gaining transferable hard and soft skills, and earning real-world work experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s dynamic capital! During this eight-week international summer internship, you'll immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant Latin culture, develop in-demand professional skills, and expand your intercultural competence in one of Latin America’s most thriving economic hubs. Whether you intern at a local Argentine company, an NGO, a startup, or a small- or medium-sized international company, you'll find yourself networking with a wide range of valuable contacts throughout Argentina.
When you apply to become a CIEE intern, our staff will work directly with you to match you with an internship opportunity that suits your unique needs and professional goals. Typical internship placements include positions in human rights, political science, business, engineering, astronomy, sciences, education, arts, marketing, design, and more. While internships are competitive, CIEE will help you navigate the internship interview process to set you up for success. Our staff will offer you constructive resume revisions and provide you with the tools to succeed in your interview to ensure you are placed with the right opportunity. GAIN Travel Grants - up to $2,000 toward travel costs guaranteed to all Pell-elgible students.
Gilman Go Global Grants - $2,500/semester and $1,000/summer, guaranteed to all Gilman applications.
Merit-Based Scholarships - $2,500/semester and $750/summer, awarded to students deomonstrating high academic achievement.
Minority Serving Institutions (MIS) Grant - $2,000/semester and $500/summer, guaranteed to all students attending MSIs.

Contact UsA Global Internship is a Learning Abroad Program that provides unique workplace experiences abroad. Global Internships are coordinated by one of our Affiliates – partner organizations that have been evaluated and approved by the University of Utah. Through direct relationships with companies, organizations, and governments in the host country, our Affiliates can connect you with your ideal internship opportunity. Internships are available in both English and the host language, depending on your preference. Many Affiliates provide helpful services such as visa support, housing, knowledgeable on-site staff to help you navigate your host country, and cultural field trips and excursions.
