Program Reviews:
Spring 2022 Participant
I loved my program. I was a part of CEA Paris, France - Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. If you have any desire to study fashion or communications, this program is a great fit. However, if you want to study strictly business classes I would consider a different program. Elisa, Isabel, and Anne-Cecil were amazing - they were always available to answer language, cultural, and academic questions. Many of my courses took learning outside the classroom. Instead, we learned from the streets, museums, and institutions of Paris. My professors were all well adapt in their fields and had so much insight on their topics and a great desire to help students succeed. If you're considering studying in Paris I think you should know two things. The first regards the language barrier. The more French you know, the better off you'll be. However, in Paris, they do speak a great deal of English. So, learn the basic phrases to be respectful and you'll learn the rest as you go. The second regards friends. It is super hard to meet and make friends with locals. However, I made a lot of great connections with people in my program and other international individuals. I have no regrets studying abroad with CEA Paris. As cheesy as this sounds, it was truly the semester I had dreamed of.
